Water. Stone. Metal. Objects not yet considered instruments. His work begins with material and the sounds hidden within it, moving between percussion, composition and experimentation.
Belgian-born and Munich-based, Daan has performed at festivals including La Biennale di Venezia and the Salzburger Festspiele. He was the first musician in Germany to complete the postgraduate programme Excellence in Performance.
